The Brunch I’m Manifesting — And the People I Hope to Meet

Oh, manifesting — such a trendy concept on social media.

The truth is, manifesting is just the modern word for dreaming and believing.

Are you? Or have you been lately?

Dreaming and believing?

There’s a version of my life I keep daydreaming about.

I’m not talking about the one with a yacht or a mansion.

But I keep dreaming about softness, kindness, and fresh days.

It starts on a slow Sunday morning, with a long, colorful table, sunlight, and chill indie music. Oh, I love indie music!

Should I add people to my scenery? I haven’t had much of that lately.

I’ve become a little disappointed. A little bitter, maybe.

People are complex — they carry their own wounds, their unspoken expectations.

They ghost, they bail, they don't always... or even rarely... see you.

And even though I’m in my 30s, I still haven’t fully figured out how to deal with that.

But something inside me still hopes.

Still craves connection.

Still believes that somewhere out there, there are people who want the same things I do: Mornings that feel real, conversations that go deeper than “so what do you do?”, and friendships that don’t feel like a performance.

I’ve come to realize that, with time, you become more aware of who you are — what you believe in, the values that truly align with you, and what you’re willing (or not willing) to tolerate.

And when that awareness kicks in, something shifts:You start choosing more intentionally. You begin to filter who gets close to you.

Relationships, after all, are mirrors.

They reflect our self-love, our boundaries, our attachment styles, and even the parts of us still healing.

It can be exhausting — navigating such a tormented sea of projection, triggers, and unmet needs.

But despite the mess, the confusion, the overthinking… we still crave connection.

We crave understanding.

Support.

And it’s that kind of connection — the raw, real, emotionally safe kind — that feels so rare in the modern world.

But I still believe it’s possible.I still believe there’s a table where it exists - at The Brunch table perhaps.

But let’s be real — finding a crew isn’t just about finding. It’s mostly about becoming… and also learning who deserves a seat at your table.

That’s how you truly manifest it.

But don’t worry — we’ve got you. 🫶

💬 The People I'm Manifesting to Meet

You don’t have to want what I want.Maybe your brunch table looks totally different.Maybe you dream of meeting a quiet artist, a loud feminist, a 6-foot Asian man with a deep love for literature and lifting weights.

Maybe you crave a partner who reflects your softness. Or a group of friends who challenge you to grow.

Whatever it is — own it.You get to envision and desire what feels right for you.No one else gets to define that.

This isn’t about fitting into a mold of what connection “should” look like. It’s about defining your version — and then moving toward it unapologetically.

✍️ Journal Prompt: Who’s at your table?

Take a quiet moment. Light a candle. Play your favorite playlist. Then ask yourself:

🧠 Connection & Relationships

  • Who do I want sitting across from me at brunch — emotionally, energetically, and spiritually?

  • What qualities in others make me feel most safe, alive, or inspired?

  • Am I showing up as the kind of person I’d want to meet?

  • Are there relationships I’ve outgrown or need to create space from?

  • Do I feel like I’m performing or people-pleasing to belong?

🌿 Wellness & Energy

  • What habits help me feel grounded, confident, and clear?

  • What’s draining me right now that I need to release?

  • What does a nourishing morning look like for me — not what trends say it should look like?

  • When do I feel most aligned with my body and mind? How can I create more of that?

  • Have I been listening to my body’s needs — rest, movement, boundaries, fuel?

💡 Vision & Desire

  • What kind of energy do I want to attract into my life this season?

  • If I could design my ideal brunch — people, energy, conversation, location — what would it look like?

  • What do I truly crave in my friendships, romantic life, and community?

  • Have I been shrinking any of my desires because I think they’re “too much”?

  • Is there anything I’ve been longing for, but afraid to name?

🌿 More Than Just a Brunch

The Brunch isn’t just an event - It’s a mindset.

It’s about calling in the people, the energy, the lifestyle that aligns with your realest self - and creating your circle.

Whether you’re extroverted, introverted, healing, thriving, or somewhere in between —this space is for you.

If you’ve ever left a room thinking, “I want more than this,”

If you’ve ever wished someone would look at you and really see you,

If you’re ready to choose your people intentionally — and become someone who can be chosen back…Then I hope we meet at The Brunch.

And even if that day hasn’t come yet — this moment, this reflection — is the first step toward it.
